La signora Sharon Hodgson, politica laburista del Regno Unito, ha recentemente deciso di muovere un passo parlamentare contro quello che, più o meno tecnologico, da noi si chiama bagarinaggio.

Al suo fianco molti artisti del Regno Unito, tra cui gli Iron Maiden. Rod Smallwood si è dichiarato molto soddisfatto della mozione e ha detto che “qualcosa esser fatto davvero per fermare la peste della rivendita dei biglietti”.

E ha continuato: “Il numero dei biglietti che ormai sono venduti al prezzo regolare sta diminuendo in modo preoccupante a causa della rampante attività di coloro che comprano per rivendere a prezzi maggiorati. Quando lo scorso anno abbiamo messo in vendita i biglietti per l’imponente tour degli Iron Maiden nelle arene britanniche, nel giro di pochi giorni moltissimi di questi sono finiti a prezzi incrementati sui siti di rivendita biglietti. È una forma di pirateria che deve essere fermata dai veri fan e dagli artisti".

Vedremo come andrà a finire, con la convinzione che sia importante garantire il numero maggiore possibile di biglietti al prezzo regolare, anche perché, ahinoi, questo molte volte è tutt’altro che economico.

“When Iron Maiden tickets went on sale late last year for an extensive arena tour of the UK this summer, thousands upon thousands of tickets at much higher average prices than face value appeared across these secondary sites within days.
“Do they really expect us to believe that even a small number of these were bought by people who suddenly – the day after they bought the ticket – found they couldn’t go to a concert some nine months away? Pull the other one.
